8월 23일(일), 호주, 뉴질랜드 정신치료학회 제3차 연례 학술대회(New Zealand and Australian Psychotherapy Annual Conference) (1992.8.22.~8.24, 호주 시드니)에 9명의 회원들(이동식, 정창용, 문홍세, 강석헌, 최수호, 허찬희, 심상호, 임효덕, 소준현)이 참여하여 한국정신치료학회와 호주,뉴질랜드 정신치료학회 합동 심포지엄 “Psychotherapy across Culture”를 개최. 이동식 선생(“The Tao and Western Psychotherapy”) 및 정창용(“Zen Meditation and Psychotherapy : A Personal Account”), 강석헌(“The Confucian Tao and Western Psychotherapy : Toegye as Psychotherapist”), 허찬희(“Empathy and Eastern Tao”), 임효덕(“Integration of Psychotherapist in Korea”) 회원 논문 발표.
